SEE & DO
SWIM

The Wensley is a 30 minute drive from The Great Ocean Rd - below are some of our favourite beaches. Click on the underlined headings to take you straight to google maps for directions.
AIREYS INLET

A collection of picturesque pocket beaches and rock pools beneath rugged red limestone cliffs. Check the local tide times here.

Sheltered by limestone cliffs this beach is great for a day of swimming and sun-baking. Walk to Sunnymeade on a low tide. But don't get caught out!

Great for a walk or a surf - take the winding beach track down and explore the rock formations at the end of the beach.

Sun-bake or take your snorkel and explore the rock pools - if it's really calm swim out to Eagle Rock.

One of the longest stretches of white beaches along The Great Ocean road. Great for sun-baking and swimming on a calm day - and walking on a wintery or windy one!

ANGLESEA

Great beach for kids at low tide and a good longboarding wave that peels perfectly.

Part of a pristine marine park off Bells Beach. Great walks and protected on windy days.

SEE
Split Point Light House - 30 mins
Do the Aireys Clifftop Walk and stop in at the light house for some scones and tea - or a guided tour.

Kennet River Koala Walk - 1 hr 12 mins
The Kennett River Koala walk winds along Grey River Road through heavily populated gum trees in the Otway Rainforest. Park your car at Kafe Koala and stroll up through the hills.

The 12 Apostles - 1.5 hrs drive
Best viewed at sunset in Autumn (in my humble opinion) with a beer in hand. Park at the visitor centre and walk across.

BUSH WALKS

There are a myriad of tracks that run through The Otway Forest & Anglesea Heath at the back of the property. You can walk to the back of the property and have a ramble or use your google maps to plan a route. Please ask Fran for a specific map for Wensley walk.

Alternatively you can drive to any of the below tracks that run off Gumflats Rd. You can find more information on these walks here

COASTAL WALKS

There are some great coastal walks along The Great Ocean Road. The Aireys Clifftop Walk, and the Fairhaven - Aireys Inlet beach walk are the closest.

• Beachcombing Walk Point Roadknight - Urquart Bluff
